This unique therapy, pioneered by Daniel S.J. Choy, M.D., works through the phase-shifting of sound waves. The system employs an unobtrusive Portable Treatment Device for convenient, in-home delivery of an individually customized therapy, in use in the U.S., Europe and Asia.

Dr. Daniel S. J. Choy has been a medical pioneer for over 40 years and holds patents on several groundbreaking products to treat a variety of medical conditions. Some of his most notable and well-recognized work has been in the medical application of lasers—specifically in the areas of cardiology and spine surgery. Dr. Choy is the founder of the Laser Spine Center in New York City, a medical facility for the treatment of herniated discs using PLDD, Percutaneous Laser Disc Decompression, a technique he invented.

Dr. Choy is a member of the staffs of the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and the Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He is a member of numerous professional medical organizations and currently serves as Secretary of the Section on Bioengineering of the New York Academy of Medicine. He is a founding member of the American Board of Laser Surgery and serves as a reviewer for two distinguished medical publications, The New England Journal of Medicine and Lancet. He was selected as a “TOP DOCTOR” in New York by the International Association of Internists in October 2009.
